Quality Drawings For Your Factory.

Areas of Expertise

precast Panel detailing

The nuts and bolts of PDSA, this is what we do best! If the drawings are right, the panels are right, and the install goes smoothly - everyone wins! Architectural panels, textured panels, coloured panels, insulated panels, plain old mesh and concrete panels, if it's a panel and it's made of concrete, we draw it. PDSA has a focus on delivering accurate and concise detail drawings that are easy to read on the factory floor. Tailoring our drawings to your needs, we can completely customise our symbols, set out, dimension style, and title blocks to our clients standards.

Dowel and propping plans

Does the builder need a dowel layout or a propping plan? We can do that too. We can provide dowel locations setout from grid for the builder to cast in their starter bars. Then after they have cast them in the wrong spot and survey the bars, we can then locate the grout tubes in the panels to suit the as built starters. Although we can't certify temporary works - yet, we can certainly draw propping layouts and diagrams for the temporary works engineer to run their calculations and checks on.

layouts and elevations

A good building model leads to good shop drawings. It's essential to get things correct here to create precise shop drawings. Further more, clearly marked plans and elevations make it a breeze for the install team to locate and land panels. PDSA will deliver marking plans and elevations that meet the Architects design and specifications. We can also optimise panel break ups where possible to reduce the cost to the pre-caster.

connection details

How the precast panels are connected to each other and tied in to the structure is very important, after all we do like our buildings to stay standing. There are many different way this can be achieved, with a number of products available on the market. If you would like to propose new connection details to the structural engineer, PDSA can detail those for you or even suggest details for you to the engineer. The elimination of welded connections can potentially save a lot of money on a large scale project.

fitment take offs

It's good to be prepared, and knowing how many fitments you need and when you need them, goes a long way towards that. Whether it's fitment quantities per panel, per level, or per job, we can help with that! That way you can ensure that you have your purchase orders in place well in advance of when you need the fitments. PDSA can easily export from dwg to excel any and all fitment take offs.

custom formwork and fitment details

Architects don't like rectangles, it's a fact. They like to get fancy and design buildings with curved, tapered, textured walls and balustrades. Looks great on paper, but to build them you need custom form work, which often requires CNC cut materials. We can detail those up for you too and provide dwg/dxf files for your form work supplier. Further more those artistic panels can require custom cast in fitments to make the connection details work. You guessed it, we can details those up for you too.
